MEET THE STYLIST
Hi, I’m Bel – founder and stylist behind Styling by Minikin. After two decades working as an Occupational Therapist, I found myself craving a more creative life, one where I could use my love for design, storytelling, and connection in a whole new way. What started with painted gum leaves in my garage has grown into a full-time dream—creating beautiful, personal, and memorable styling for events, brands, and interiors.

Styling by Minikin is a deeply personal expression of who I am. I’m passionate about curating spaces and experiences that not only look beautiful but feel meaningful. I draw on my background in mental health to shape experiences that consider the emotional, sensory, and visual impact of every detail. I love mixing the old with the new—pairing vintage finds with fresh design, or unexpected touches with classic simplicity. Whether it’s a wedding, a product launch, or a quiet dinner party, no two projects are ever the same.

Most recent endeavours.
I’ve recently expanded into a retail space at Dirty Janes Orange, where I showcase my love for one-off pieces with character and charm. The stall blends vintage finds with contemporary styling, featuring upcycled homewares, custom-made cushions, quirky lamps, and even upcycled fashion—each piece with a unique twist.
I’m also excited to be collaborating with Yani Lenehan, a talented Bathurst-based artist, to create a bespoke homewares line. I lead the design and styling, Yani brings it to life through her beautiful artwork, and together we curate a collection that’s creative, personal, and truly unique. Watch this space—something special is coming!
